BARC under the central government offers many scientist level jobs to the enthusiasts taking GATE score as a standard. For this it has started a special training school. First it shortlists candidates based on the GATE score for entering into the training school and those on completion of training in the specific duration shall be appointed as scientists in their BARC center. Right now two training schemes are being offered.

For the engineering graduates and science post graduates an orientation course is offered for duration of 1 year: Those candidates who finish the training course with at least 50% marks shall be taken as scientific officer in different units of the atomic center.

DAE graduate fellowship program for engineering graduates and physics post graduates is also being offered: Those who are able to get seats in M.Tech or ME (chemical) in the institutes recognized by the center shall get their tuition fee and stipend being paid by BARC. For these candidates job is guaranteed in the DAE. As soon as these candidates complete their first year post graduate study should do their internship in different departments of the atomic center.
