How to See a Facebook Friendship Page

After you've been on Facebook for a while, you'll likely find that you've littered your closest friends' Timelines with posts, tagged photos, and invitations. Facebook offers a quick way to see all the communication you've shared with an individual friend over time with the Friendship Page feature.

A Friendship Page collects the Timeline posts and replies you've shared with a friend, photos in which you're both tagged, a listing of event invitations to which you've both responded, and the list of mutual friends you share. The Friendship Page even supplies a default cover photo and profile picture. It's basically a version of Timeline that's about two people, instead of one person.

To see the Friendship Page you share with one of your friends, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to your friend's Timeline by entering his name in the Search box or clicking on his name wherever you see it.

  2. From his Timeline, click the gear icon in the lower-right corner of his cover photo.

  3. Click See Friendship in the drop-down menu that appears.

Facebook automatically generates the Friendship Page. It looks much like your personal Timeline, including a cover photo and profile picture (you can actually edit the cover photo if you'd like). Posts you've left for each other or tagged each other in appear from newest to oldest in the right-hand column. Mutual friends, photos in which you both appear, and Pages you both like appear in the left column.
